12 anni + 2 passati in fretta. Velocità, sudore, fatica. Vivere un sogno non è semplice. Il progetto LEF nasce nel 1992 in una delle tante "cantine-sonore" di provincia. Nel settembre dello stesso anno raggiungono la finale nazionale "Rainbow Bridge", AnaGrumBa. Presenta Fabio Fazio in una serata "Delirio" al Palaghiaccio di Fanano -Modena-. Il 92 è anche l'anno del primo contatto della band con la label torinese Toast Rec. Da un demo omonimo viene estratto e pubblicato, sull'Audiozine Toast "Punto Zero 8", il brano "memories". Entusiasmo, gioia, stordimento. Prime recensioni sul reticolo di stampa alternativa nazionale. Arezzo, luglio 93, Parterre Parco del Pionta: "lucida" esibizione sotto i reflui dell'alcool. AnaGrumBa Arezzo si ricorderà dei LEF?. Eco sonoro del 94 è una compilation della Face Rec di Piacenza. I LEF contribuiscono con "Deep Down faith". Salerno 95, Centro sociale Q2, Alma megretta, solidarietà : questi gli ingredienti prncipi, con l'aggiunta di un pizzico di LEF, per un concerto difficile da dimenticare. Anno 1999, Eboli -Salerno- Feedback. Ormai la formazione è "orfana" sia del batterista storico, Mr. Willy Carusio, che del canto in inglese. SWITCH. Station wagon, stanchezza. Anni dedicati a girare la penisola...STOP. Si ripristina il contatto con la Toast Rec. Torino, luglio 05, Giulio Tedeschi, Via Duchessa Jolanda, Toast Rec, Donato Guarino. Si discute di "Canto & Disincanto", mini cd della band. Attesa, speranza, tensione, contratto... Sì...No...Forse... Ma vai! Sì!!! Maggio 2006. Il prodotto "invade" il mercato indie, si inizia ad attendere. Recensioni, concerti, tutto ora ha un senso. Grande fine settimana di inizio ottobre a FNAC Napoli e Depistaggio -BN -STOP. Novembre. Si susseguono l'esibizione nella Tenda M del MEI e la notizia della presenza della band nella compilation, edita da AUDIOCOOP/MEI, "THE BEST OF INDIES" . Gennaio 2007. La compilation è presentata al MIDEM di CANNES. Aurelio Pasini di MUCCHIO SELVAGIO definisce "CANTO E DISINCANTO":" un lavoro solido e maturo, che ora attende uno sviluppo su minutaggi più estesi". Incontro a Roma tra la band e la TOAST REC. Previsto nuovo prodotto discografico all'inizio del 2009. Sarà una co-produzione tra TOAST REC e CNI/TOMATO con distribuzione VENUS. All'orizzonte nuovi ed affascinanti scenari: GROSSO UFFICIO STAMPA MILANESE CHE INIZIA CON LA "M", VIDEO, CONCERTI , PHOTO-SESSION, nuovi e probabili ingressi nella band

12 years + 3 gone in a glimpse of pure light. Speed, sweat, work. Living a dream is not the simplest of things. The band come to light in the year 1992. In September of the same year they are on the stage of the national competition "RAINBOW BRIDGE"...big names share the stage with them.
92 is also the year in which the first contact between LEF and TOAST Records takes place -TOAST records is the "oldest" indie-record label in Italy- The indie-label decides to include the song "MEMORIES" on one of their legendary compilations: "PUNTO ZERO 8". Enthusiasm, joy, dizziness. First reviews come to birth. After years of touring the country in a little yellow van, happily and quite unexpectedly the year 2005 comes along.

Words concerning a possible record deal are in the air...they land successfully!
"CANTO E DISINCANTO", a mini-cd for TOAST RECORDS, hits the indie-market in April 2006. Everything seems to have some sense now.

The best of weekends at the FNAC store in Naples and the venue "DEPISTAGGIO" in Benevento. A month later and the band are at the MEI -the most important Italian indie meeeting- sharing the stage with Italy's best. January 2007 and the band are on the "BEST OF INDIES IN ITALY" compilation presented at the MIDEM in Cannes -France-. Aurelio Pasini, one of the most important music critics in Italy defines "CANTO E DISINCANTO": " ...a solid and mature work that now needs to be transformed into a proper cd album".
2008, the band land a new record deal that involves both thier old label -TOAST RECORDS- and a new one -CNI/TOMATO.
Video and photo sessions are on the way.
The rocord "MOSTRI" is to be released at the beginning of 2009. Look out!!!!
